Who here has been to defcon?

Anyone? Looking for peoples opinion about it as I would like to attend one of these events.

I attended DefCon 23. I don't think I would go again unless I was actually working for a Tier 1 provider. Many people running around with their AS numbers on their shirts and plenty of bickering. The EMEA providers blaming the US for some outage and vice-versa. Some of the presentations were interesting. There was one presentation on the proliferation of the Nimda worm and how it affected the Internet. InterOp was more interesting
